STUDI PEMIKIRAN HIZBUT TAHRIR INDONESIA
ABSTRACT
This study, which examines the concepts of Khilafah Islamiyah become political thought of Hizbut Tahrir (HT), in other words, this paper is a review of ideas, concepts as well as idealism and the ideals of Hizbut Tahrir on political life, the relationship between state, religion and politics, democracy and so forth, which is an important concept and thought to be the socialization base of the Khilafah Islamiyah's minds, especially in Indonesia.
Since the early 20th century, when the nascent nationalist movements in colonial situations, the centre of attention of the Islamic movement more focused on social issues, particularly education, socio-econimic improvement and propaganda, in order to broadcast the Islamic religion, in accordance whit religious stream each movement of organization dealing with the colonial goverment, which fought for the mission is demanding improved conditions of the fate of the nation or the community and simultaneously promoting religion. However, a more positive role of religion as a media, symbols and spirit rather than ideology.
Hizbut Tahrir is a political party of Islamic ideology, politics is an activity, and islam is a philosophy. Hizbut Tahrir moves in the midst of the congregation, and they struggle together to make Islam server the cases of their members of a religious community. Hizbut Tahrir is a political group, not a group that is only based on purely spiritual, not a scientific institutions, rather than educational institutions (academic), not a social intitution.
The fikrah (troughts) used as a basis for Hizbut Tahrir, who always tried to be a party of the faithful and the people who serve as their sace is Islamic fikrah, namely the form of (Islamic Theology) and the wole idea was born from the belief in Islam, including the antire law was built on the belief.
Hizbut Tahrir has adopted this Islamic fikrah, the metters required by a political party that aims to bring Islam in the middle of public life, which include Islam in the goverment system, the relationship (interactions) between the people and every aspect of life.
The call of God in the Qur'an (Ali-Imran: 104) is al call moslems to establish a "jamaah". Those indications, according to Hizbut Tahrir, showed the commands for the integrated groups in one jama'ah. In reference to the matters should be political. The coverage of jama'ah activity was determined (limited) to religious proselytizing to Islam, which calls for control of the authorities that they must be doing semething (implementing Islamic low) and do prohibit unjust (to prevent something that is not derived from Islamic law).
